Local Profile - Rosanna Ceravolo

Well technically she's from the inner west but furniture designer Rosanna Ceravolo's work can still be seen here in the north east at the Home: Reframing Craft and Domesticity exhibition at Hatch Contemporary Arts Space until 11 May (hurry - last days!).  And besides, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have someone called Rosanna feature on Miss Rosanna!  I love the simple, bold geometric lines of Rosanna's work, which to me is a little Art Deco-inspired.  Read on for more.

Describe yourself/what you do:
Like most architects, I have always been passionate about furniture and product design. Having an architectural background is a great platform for other creative pursuits. I know many architects who have delved into fields such as fashion, art and product design. A couple of years ago, I began work on my debut furniture collection which was released in 2012. Since then I have been working on expanding my product range as well as on commission - based pieces for private clients.
